This site does not track you

We do not use cookies to track you, and we do not use analytics. When you open a page on this website, nothing is stored on your device and nothing about your visit is sent to us or to anyone else.

That means there is no cookie banner. We would rather not ask your permission for something we are not doing.

The two exceptions

Both only happen if you choose to do something, and neither is used to build a profile of you.

If you play a video

Videos are hosted on YouTube. Until you press play, nothing loads from YouTube except the still image you see as a preview, which comes from a Google server that does not set cookies. If you press play, YouTube loads its player and may set cookies at that point. We use YouTube’s no-cookie player, which limits this, but it is still YouTube’s player and Google’s rules apply to it.

If you send us an enquiry

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you are a person rather than a bot. It is used instead of a puzzle or an image test because it usually needs nothing from you at all. It may store a short-lived token on your device to do that check. It is not used for advertising and does not follow you to other sites.

What we do with what you send us

If you fill in a form, we keep what you typed so we can reply to you. That is covered by our privacy policy, which explains what we hold and for how long.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics or anything that stores information on your device, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
